One of the most iconic cities along the California coastline, Santa Monica is an absolutely breathtaking place, full of life. It's a must-see destination for travelers, and a beloved place in LA County.


We'll give you a quick rundown of our favorite spots in this place that we call home!

Places We Love in Santa Monica, CA

There are so many incredible places to visit in LA County, but just the city of Santa Monica alone can keep you extremely busy. We can't lie, it's a major tourist attraction. So you have to know some of the locals to get into the hole-in-the wall places and hotspots that no one else knows about.

We'll stick to the basics, like Santa Monica Pier, which you'll see in countless movies and television shows that are set in California. You can visit the beach, hop on one of the rides, and indulge in  one of the restaurants like the incredible rooftop lounge called Seaside on the Pier, or the authentic Marisol Cocina Mexicana.

The Rim of the World highway, which spans about 117 miles across the U.S. state of California.

Palisades Park

This is one of the most stunning places to walk in teh etnire city. You'll get incredible views of the ocean and Santa Monica Mountains, and a breathtaking view of the California coastline from Palisades Park. If you keep towards the Northern end of the park, you'll avoid the tourists congregating at the pier and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Santa Monica Farmers' Market

Some of the best restaurants in Santa Monica get their local produce from the Santa Monica Farmers' Market. The hustle and bustle, colors and smells of a farmers' market are always irresistable. We recommend visitng on a Wednesday when you'll be able to find it on Arizona Avenue. If you opt to go on a weekend, you can expect major crowds. 

3rd Street Promenade

One of the best things about Southern California has to be our incredible outdoor shopping centers. There aren't too many cities where these places can be enjoyed all year round. With dozens and dozens of shops and restaurants, Third Street Promenade is a great place to spend a night out on the town, or a nice afternoon with the family.
